MetLife faced considerable data-center operational overhead as a result of their legacy application infrastructure. Their Australian data center housed several windows 2003 servers running business critical applications. MetLife needed to migrate all these servers to new environments running newer Windows Server versions. The migration project required zero application down-time.
MetLife chose VirtaMove to perform the migration process and move all applications to new servers so that the 2003 windows servers could be retired. Using VirtaMove’s migration technology, expertise and migration methodology, we were able to upgrade the entire fleet of windows server 2003 hardware.
